Maybank Open Space is a small area of land in the corner of Brent (map), where it borders Harrow and Ealing. For many years, it has been the home of the LNER Sports and Social Club, who lease the land and have a clubhouse there. This club organizes coaching, matches and tournaments for school-age children in both football and cricket. This year, over 300 local children have used the space, not counting their opponents from elsewhere.

This club is now under threat. Brent Council are currently considering replacing the existing flats behind the pitches, replacing them with a much larger block which will cover the majority of Maybank Open Space.
